TradeYorkshire Business Database

The TradeYorkshire Business Database (TYBD) has been developed by Yorkshire Forward and its partners to provide improved communications to support your business.

Important update

On the 31 October 2009, the data held in the TYBD was migrated to the Regional Knowledge System (RKS) operated by Yorkshire Forward and their partners. As a result of this, Businesses will no longer be able to update their profiles online. To ask to view your profile and/or request changes, please Contact Us here.

From a communications point of view, it will be business as usual. If you have previously supplied profile information on your business, you should continue to receive targeted export support, informing you of events or opportunities relevant to your business needs.

Objectives

Our objective is to reduce the number of mailings, tailoring support services to meet your individual needs and informing you only about opportunities and information that can make a real difference to your business.

The TYBD holds a profile of your international trade status and the specific needs of your company. Your data will be held securely, in accordance with the Data Protection Act and will only be accessible to UK Trade & Investment, Yorkshire Forward and key partners.

Your company profile will be held securely under the terms of the Data Protection Act 1998. The Database is owned jointly by Yorkshire Forward and UK Trade & Investment, it is not available to the public, but key partner organisations, like Business Link Yorkshire, have controlled access.
