Opportunity to join largest ever UKTI mission to Gulf

Regional companies are invited to join Digby, Lord Jones of Birmingham, Minister of State for Trade & Investment, and UK Trade & Investment specialists, at a major conference and business networking event in Dubai.

Lord Jones will lead a delegation of over 100 British companies to Dubai for the Britain in the Region event from 27-29 November. It will be the largest UKTI-supported market visit to the Gulf ever.

The event will comprise a mix of business workshops, panel discussions and one-to-one meetings on opportunities across the Middle East and North Africa. It will involve representatives from regional agencies responsible for stimulating trade & investment; local companies and UK companies already established in the region; experts on banking, legal issues, HR and recruitment; and the directors of UK Trade & Investment teams from across the region.

The event’s primary focus will be on those sectors identified as presenting the best opportunities to UK firms over future years: Energy & Environment, Construction, Financial and Professional Services, Healthcare, Mass Transport and Education & Skills.

There will be opportunities for networking with a wide range of potential partners, clients and other commercial contacts at a number of high profile events, including the final two days of the Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens, to which all delegates will receive entry passes.

For further information please view the event flyer and booking form.

The deadline for applications is 31 July 2008.
