Free partner finding service for Yorkshire firms

Yorkshire companies are being encouraged to find overseas trading partners by using a new service launched by the West Yorkshire Euro Info Centre (WYEIC).

The EuroPartners Service can assist companies in two ways: through its EuroPartners website and a Proactive Partner Search.

The EuroPartners website offers businesses in the Yorkshire region the opportunity to find trading partners in European countries for potential agency, distribution, marketing or joint venture agreements.

The site contains requests for business partners which have been received through the Euro Info Centre (EIC) network’s Business Co-operation Database (BCD), which is used daily by over 300 EICs throughout Europe.

The Proactive Partner Search enables companies to specify what they are looking for in a European partner and this request will be circulated via the BCD in the targeted countries. The EICs in these countries will then publicise this request to local businesses through newsletters, bulletins and websites.

The Proactive Partner Search service is currently being offered free of charge.
