UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) is organising a trade mission to Australia which will coincide with AusBiotech 2009, the premier biotechnology conference for the Asia Pacific region.
AusBiotech 2009 includes a comprehensive conference programme together with an extensive BioIndustry Exhibition and Business Matching Programme, which will bring together representatives from the global biotechnology industry. In 2008, the event attracted 1,327 delegates from 32 countries including over 380 international participants. It also included over 150 speakers and hosted 1,226 confirmed meetings through the business matching programme.
All UK registered pharma/biotechnology companies are eligible to participate in the mission, which will take place from 27-30 October 2009. The British Consulate-General Melbourne and Auckland will be working closely with the mission organiser to create a programme that will add real value to companies coming to Australia with the mission. Participation by those offering innovative products/technologies and services are most welcome.
The deadline for registering is Monday 7 September 2009.
