Overview
China covers an area of about 9,572,900 sq km – an area as large as the entire European continent – and is the world’s fourth largest economy. It accounts for 7% of global trade and it is the world’s third largest exporter.
China's 1.3 billion people make up approximately one fifth of the world's population.
